Methodology
This site exists to make software claims checkable. Every value on every vendor, comparison, and calculator page traces back to a specific source with a date. This page explains how that works.
Confirmed vs. estimated
The value comes from the vendor's own site — pricing page, help centre article, feature page — or a written response we received directly from the vendor. Every confirmed badge links to the exact page we used.
The vendor doesn't publish this figure, so the value comes from credible third-party reporting (review sites, competitor breakdowns, or documented pricing calculators). Treat these with more caution than confirmed values — we do too.
A blank or dash (—) means we haven't researched that point yet for that vendor — it is never a claim that the feature is missing. A value of "Not verified" means we looked and couldn't confirm either way, which is different again from a confirmed "No".
How we research
Research is help-centre-first: we start at each vendor's knowledge base and support articles, because that's where product behaviour is described in the most operational detail — more precise than marketing copy, and less likely to be stale than a review site. Pricing comes from the vendor's own pricing page wherever one is published. When a vendor doesn't publish pricing or a specific feature detail, we fall back to third-party sources and mark the row estimated rather than guessing at a number.
If a finding contradicts itself — for example, a value of "false" sourced to an article literally titled "how to add classes" — we don't publish it as fact. It ships as "Not verified" and is logged for a manual re-check instead.
Re-verification cadence
Every data point carries a last_verified date. Rows older than 90 days are flagged internally for re-checking rather than silently trusted forever — pricing and feature sets change.
Currently 0 of 1365 feature rows are past the 90-day mark and queued for re-verification.
The 89-feature dictionary
Every vendor is checked against the same 89 features, grouped into 12 categories. Each feature has a fixed definition (so "check bulk cancellation" means the same thing for every vendor) and a class: table stakes (expected of any competent platform), differentiator (meaningfully separates vendors), or packaging detail (a limit or rule tied to a specific plan/tier).
